Q: When will my pork order be available?

A: You can secure your order of pork products year round with a deposit. By fall (late September - early November, your order will be ready. As we grow, we are expanding our freezer capacity and hope to have retail cuts available throughout the year - or as long as they last!

Q: When are your other products available?

A: Chickens will be ready in early August, 2020. Naturally, produce and flowers will be available throughout the summer season. Honey is available year round.

Q: how can I buy your product?

A: Please send us your order or inquiry via Email, Phone (call / text) or our Contact form. You can also visit our store at our farm in Orchard Park. In the meantime, try our products at select restaurants such as The Black Sheep, The Grange, and Butera’s upon availabitlity.

Q: How much freezer space will i need for my hog order?

A: A Cut Collection is roughly 35lbs of meat product. This is essentially two grocery bags full of product. 1.5 sq. ft of space. A Half Hog will require 3.5 sq. ft storage space and a whole hog 6.5 sq. ft storage space.

Q: How is MY pork packaged and how long will it last in my freezer?

A: All of our animal products are vacuum sealed. Not only does this assure quality freshness but longevity. Items vacuum sealed last up to 2-3 years were items stored in other ways last a much shorter amount of time such as 6-12 months. Smoked meats have a shorter shelf life and should be consumed in 4-6 months

Q: Can i get smoked meat?

A: YES! When you purchase your pork, we will ask if you would like to customize your order. You can request smoked meats when you complete your custom cut sheet.

Q: What is Hanging weight?

A: Hanging weight is the weight of the carcass after the internal organs, hide, and blood are removed. Since purchase price is based on hanging weight, we encourage you to take what is often turned to waste, including bones (great for dogs & stock) and trotters.
